Teresa Carroll, P.N.P., A.P.R.N., has been a cornerstone of the PGNA team since she joined in 2002. With a career spanning decades, Teresa brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and dedication to her role as a nurse practitioner, providing exceptional care to her pediatric patients.

Teresa began her journey in healthcare at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she earned her nursing degree. Following her graduation, she served as a Pediatric Charge Nurse at Sunrise Children's Hospital. During her time there, she honed her skills in pediatric care and developed a passion for supporting children and their families through complex medical conditions.

In pursuit of advanced training, Teresa completed her Nurse Practitioner program at the State University of New York. Her extensive education and hands-on experience have equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in pediatric gastroenterology.

Teresa is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), and the Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Nurses (APGNN). Her commitment to these organizations highlights her dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Throughout her career, Teresa has also taken on significant leadership roles. She served as the APGNN Member Chair from 2010 to 2015, was elected as APGNN President Elect from 2018 to 2020, and led the organization as President from 2020 to 2022. She continues to contribute as the Past President, demonstrating her enduring commitment to advancing the field of pediatric gastroenterology nursing.
